Why I think the SEIKO King Turtle is an absolute legend

April 25, 2024

SEIKO’s 2023 King Turtle was a produced by people that must have been deeply inspired to give it’s community something truly memoriable. When looking at this

When describing this watch, it sounds like

It’s design reads like a love letter counting off the every time  from SEIKO’s dive history.

When I look at my wrist, I am mesmerized by the gold seconds needle sweeping smoothly over that tactical matte black grenade pattern.

The deep pools of LumiBrite

If this $500 offering had the 6R caliber movement instead of the 4R which it comes with, you couldn’t get it for less than $2500.

In 2023 I had a $500 sized, dive watch shaped hole in my brain.  I obsessed about finding a tool watch that would withstand the rigors of a clumbsy oaf I knew who was handling two kids under two, building a web business, that liked lifting heavy things and swimming for fun.

I hate buyers remorse, so I will often spend months maticulously researching my purchasing decisions.
